HALUMINOUS
HALUMINOUS is a Sydney-based womenswear label founded by Korean-Australian designer Hannah Teresa Kim. The brand redefines contemporary resort wear through a "dark romantic" lens, blending gothic fairytales and Victorian elegance with fluid, modern silhouettes. Known for sculptural draping, sheer fabrics, and signature petal hems, the label creates wearable art that doubles as emotional armour.
Following a hiatus from the corporate fashion industry due to burnout, Kim relaunched HALUMINOUS in 2024 to pursue a slower, more intentional creative process. She also founded the independent boutique Reborne in Sydney's Chippendale neighborhood, which acts as a physical hub for her pieces. The brand's unique approach has quickly gained critical acclaim, landing Kim as a finalist for the prestigious National Designer Award and earning her prominent runway slots at Australian Fashion Week.
