A small brand rooted in the history of South Asian craftsmanship and dedicated to the principles of slow fashion and sustainability. Founded by Zahra Omarji, the brand is a culmination of a third culture kid, born in Mozambique, produced in Portugal, and shaped by India. At Designation, we strive for every piece to be thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted, emphasizing quality over quantity.
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, ensuring that each garment can be paired with another and has an everlasting place in your wardrobe, feeding into the South Asian tradition of acquiring family heirlooms. Zahra's designs blend traditional and modern elements, reimagining basics by emphasizing texture and shape. The monochromatic color palette breaks away from minimalism, allowing the construction of the secondary elements to shine through.
